STRUCTURAL STEEL PROJECT MANAGER /ESTIMATOR

Job Description:

A Local Industrial, Commercial Structural Steel Company is looking for a highly motivated Project Manager / Estimator with the knowledge of Pre-Engineered Metal Buildings and Structural Steel Projects for an established successful Construction Company.

 

The responsibilities of this candidate will be assisting in the day to day operations of the company, sales, project management and Estimating for the Industrial and Commercial Construction Industry.  Significant experience estimating structural steel and pre-engineered metal buildings, OSHA Requirements and AISC Requirements

 

This Candidate is involved in the bidding of projects, managing of projects, the ordering of materials for projects and construction coordination activities. 

 

This Candidate is responsible for continuing relations with current customers and establishing relationships with new customers. 

 

This Candidate is also responsible for negotiating prices and rental contracts with suppliers and dealers. 

 

The Candidate is responsible for ensuring all employees adhere to all company policies and procedures. 

 

The Candidate assists in the hiring of and maintaining personnel to complete projects. 

 

The Candidate must have a working knowledge of the steel erection industry and be able to solve problems within that industry and related fields that may coincide or conflict with our scope of work. 

 

Experience and Education

A minimum of 5 years experience; 10 years preferred in Structural Steel / PEMB Erection

 

$60,000 – 70, 000 / yr

Paid weekly (Fridays)

Office Hours are Monday – Friday 8:00am to 5pm
